The answer to last week’s challenge is. Q: One ALP and one LNP politician are being interviewed. “I am liberal” says one. “I am Labor” says the other. At least one of them is lying. Which one is it?

A: Both of them are liars. If the Liberal was lying, there would be two Liberals. If the Laborite was lying there would be two Laborites. We are told that one is a Liberal and one is from Labor and that at least one of them is lying. Therefore both are lying. (Are we surprised?)

This week’s challenge is.

Q: A man uses a stick to strike a part of an elephant and that part soon disappears. The man is then a lot richer. How?

The answer to this and another challenge will appear next week …
