The answer to last week’s challenge is, Q: One Labor and one Liberal politician are being interviewed. “I am liberal” says the female. “I am Labor” says the man. At least one of them is lying. Which one is it?

A: Both of them are liars. If the Liberal was lying, there would be two Liberals. If the Laborite was lying there would be two Laborites. We are told that one is a Liberal and one is from Labor and that at least one of them is lying. Therefore both are lying. (Are we surprised?)
