The answer to last week’s Mental Floss challenge, Q: A horse plows a field all day. If he takes 24 steps to reach from one end of the field to another, how many hoof prints will the horse leave in the last furrow?

A: None. The plow will turn the soil over and cover any prints left by the horse.
