The answer to last week’s question is. Q: A man drives down the highway at 90 kms per hour. Yet he still manages to pass three cars going 95 kms per hour, how does he manage this?

A: He was driving in the opposite direction to the other three cars.

This week’s lateral thinking challenge is.

Q: A man lives on the twelfth floor of an apartment building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator — or if it was raining that day — he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the tenth floor and walks up two flights of stairs to his apartment.

The answer, along with a new challenge, next week.
