The answer to last week’s challenge is. Q: A man staggers out of a pub under the influence. Everything he is wearing is black, including a ski mask as it is very cold. He is walking down the middle of a road with no shops or street lights. A car is speeding toward him with its lights off but somehow manages to stop in time. How did the driver avoid hitting the man?

A: He stepped out of the pub during daylight hours and was clearly visible.

This week’s Mental Floss challenge is.

Q: Train A and Train B are crossing the country from coast to coast, a distance of over 3000 kms. A is traveling from Melb to Perth at 100km/hour. B leaves at the same time from Perth to travel to Melb traveling at 110km/per hour. Which train will be closer to the West coast when they meet?
